The association represents 5,600 mission-driven, not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and senior housing facilities, and community service organizations. Every day, AAHSA’s members serve one million older persons across the country. AAHSA has state association partners that represent AAHSA members in 39 states.

AHAF
The American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that has dedicated over 25 years to funding research on age-related and degenerative diseases, educating the public about these diseases, and providing emergency financial assistance to Alzheimer's disease patients and their caregivers.

Alliance for Aging Research
The private, not-for-profit Alliance for Aging Research is the nation's leading citizen advocacy organization for improving the health and independence of Americans as they age. The Alliance was founded in 1986 to promote medical and behavioral research into the aging process. Since then, and as the explosion of the Senior Boom approaches, the Alliance has become the voice for Baby Boomer health by developing, implementing and advocating programs in research, professional and consumer health education and public policy.

Alliance for Retired Americans
The Alliance is a new and unique national organization that works to create an America that protects the health and economic security of seniors, rewards work, strengthens families and builds thriving communities. It was launched in January 2001 by a national coalition of AFL-CIO affiliated unions and community-based organizations dedicated to economic and social justice. Who belongs to the Alliance? Retired members of participating unions affiliated with the AFL-CIO and members of the former National Council of Senior Citizens are automatically members of the Alliance for Retired Americans. Other older and retired Americans are invited to join for just $10.00 a year.

Alzheimer Outreach Services
Alzheimer Outreach Services (AOS) is a not for profit agency, established in 1985, that offers a wide range of services specifically designed to support individuals with Alzheimer Disease or a related disorder and their caregivers.
