Alameda Alliance for Health
lameda Alliance for Health is a not-for-profit health plan committed to making a difference in the quality and access of health care services to the people of Alameda County. Established in January 1996, the Alliance currently provides health care services to more than 87,000 Alameda County residents. Our members choose from a network of over 1,300 community doctors, 15 hospitals, 26 community health centers and more than 170 pharmacies throughout Alameda County. An independent Board comprised of physicians, community leaders and plan members oversees policies and programs.

Their mission is to promote harmony among all people. People of different cultures, races, religions, age groups, sexual gender and orientation, physical and mental abilities.

American Association of the Physicians of Indian Origin
AAPI is a forum to facilitate and enable Indian American Physicians to excel in patient care, teaching and research, and to pursue their aspirations in professional and community affairs.

American Civil Rights Coalition
The American Civil Rights Coalition works with grassroots supporters and leaders on the local, state and federal level to end racial and gender preferences and classifications. We engage in activities such as initiative campaigns and lobbying.

The American Civil Rights Institute is a national civil rights organization created to educate the public about racial and gender preferences.

Provide visitors with the most current and comprehensive index and archive of anxiety-related information on the web. Connect users with self-help and professional resources in their community. Cultivate and maintain a variety of online support forums. Educate users about anxiety's causes and treatments. Work against the social stigma of mental health illnesses. Cooperate with other self-help initiatives. Serve as an advocate for mental health issues.

Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum
Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum -- a national advocacy organization dedicated to promoting policy, program, and research efforts for the improvement of health status of all Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. The mission of the APIAHF is to promote improvement in the health status of all Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. The Health Forum envisions a multicultural society where the Asian and Pacific Islander communities are included and represented in all health, political, social and economic arenas.

The following resources are being collected to assist interested parties to find information covering all aspects of Global Asian & Pacific Islander as well as U.S. Asian American & Pacific Islander disability issues and the existing best practices in this venue.
